Regional Ash Tree Inventory Training
Joanne Garton of Vermont Uban and Community Forestry Program trained 15 regional Tree Board and Forestry representatives in Ludlow's Town Hall.
Ash trees will be getting identified and marked before long. The Emerald Ash Borer is here - it has been detected in Ludlow quite recently, summer of 2025. It will likely impact all, or nearly all Ash trees, with an expectation of 1-3 in 1000 surviving. The Town and Village of Ludlow will prioritize trees along sidewalks, roads, in parks, and in other public areas that are the domain of the Ludlow Tree Warden.
