LUDLOW, Vt. – The newly established tree advisory board of Ludlow, appointed by the selectboard in May, represents a significant stride toward enhancing our community’s greenspaces and preserving the natural beauty that defines our village and town. This dedicated group works hand-in-hand with the town tree warden to promote a vibrant and sustainable environment, focusing on the education, planting, maintenance, protection, and responsible removal of dangerous public trees in our town-managed properties and the town forest. With a commitment to fostering community engagement, the board will actively pursue maintenance grants, conduct comprehensive tree inventories, monitor invasive pests, and provide educational resources to the public. We invite you to connect with the tree advisory board for any tree-related questions, concerns, or comments within Ludlow via email at TreeBoard@ludlow.vt.us,  and to visit our webpage at www.ludlow.vt.us/trees.

The board’s monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, at 4 p.m., in the Howard Barton Conference Room at Ludlow Town Hall, 37 Depot Street; or via Zoom, details on our webpage above.
